IFLADP PROJECT

Due change of effluent characteristic, CETP faces operation difficulties ultimately increase in the O &M cost. In order to reduce the O&M cost and to improve the performance of the system;

AEDOL and CETP approached ILIFO to prepare a Detailed Project Report for the upgradation of the CETP. Based on the request, ILIFO prepared the DPR fulfilling the conditions of the IFLADP sub scheme.

AEDOL approached DPIIT through CSIR-CLRI with a DPR for the upgradation of ZLD system at CETP under IFLADP sub scheme “ Leather Technology, innovation and Environmental issue”.

Based on the proposal, DPIIT approved and sanctioned the IFLADP project. DPIIT appointed AEDOL as SPV by the DPIIT, Government of India for implementing the upgradation of ZLD facilities at three Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETP) under Indian Footwear Leather& Accessories Development Programme (IFLADP).

The above three upgradation project was apprised by CSIR-CLRI, Chennai the Project Management Consultant (PMC) for the IFLADP scheme appointed by GoI.

ILIFO, Chennai has been engaged by AEDOL as Technical Agency (TA) for assistance in development and implementation of the project.

The Government of India, (DPIIT), have sanctioned the project for the upgradation of CETPs as detailed below:

According to IFLADP 70 % of the upgradation project cost will be met by GoI as Grant. The Government of Tamil Nadu Grant will be upto 15% of the project cost. The balance amount of 15% of the project cost will be borne by the member tanneries of the respective CETPs.
